Jim Erickson of Fargo has been named to the Executive Committee of the Association of Boxing Commissions.
He will serve a two-year term as the Region 4 director, which covers North Dakota, South Dakota, Idaho, Kansas, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming, along with the Boxing Commission of the Yakuma Nation of Oregon.
Erickson has been a member of the North Dakota Athletic Advisory Board, which assists Secretary of State Al Jaeger with the regulation of boxing and kickboxing in North Dakota.
Jaeger serves as the state athletic commissioner.
