WINNIPEG - Winnipeg improved to 2-2 in the second half with a 7-1 victory over Fargo-Moorhead in Northern League baseball Friday in front of 6,812 fans at CanWest Global Park.
Fargo-Moorhead opened the scoring in the top of the second when a Ruben Salazar double drove in Jesse Hoorelbeke.
Winnipeg responded in the bottom half of the inning with two runs of their own and didn't look back.
Tony Evans tallied his second win of the week against the RedHawks, allowing four hits and one run in seven innings of action.
Fargo-Moorhead (0-4, 32-20) faces Winnipeg tonight at 7.
