LONGVIEW, Wash. – Longview scored three runs in the first inning to spark a 5-3 victory against Fargo in pool play late Thursday at the Babe Ruth 13-15 World Series.
Ben Bryant and Matthew Thibert each had one hit for the Fargo team, which had Friday off.
Fargo next plays at 2:05 p.m. (CST) today against Torrance (Calif.) in another pool-play game.
