Fargo Force end regulation season on high note

The Force scored three-straight third-period goals to earn a win at Sioux Falls on Saturday.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Three-straight third period goals helped the Fargo Force end the regular season on a high note with a 4-2 win over Sioux Falls on Saturday before 8, 170 at the Denny Sanford Premier Center.

Trailing 2-1 midway through the third, the Force's Cole Knuble scored on assists from Bret Link and Bryan Huggins to tie it. Fargo's Andre Gasseau scored the go-ahead goal on the power play on assists from Knuble and Joe Palodichuk at 16:16. Tyler Rollwagen scored an empty net goal on an assist from Huggins at 18:30.

Rollwagen, who scored a game-winning hat trick in Friday's win over Sioux Falls, scored twice Saturday. He connected on the power play at 18:56 of the first period on assists from Knuble and Palodichuk.

Force goalie Matej Marinov turned back 19 of 21 shots.
