SPRING LAKE PARK, Minn. — Fargo quarterback William Tudmon and a turnover-hungry Invader defense were too much for the Twin Cities Sabercats in the Invaders 30-8 Northern Elite Football League victory Saturday at Spring Lake Park High School.
The Invaders forced four Sabercats turnovers. Dominic Goseyun recovered three fumbles and Quinn Redmond intercepted a pass and Travis Williams broke up two passes.
Tudmon hit 11-of-21 passes for 264 yards and four touchdowns, including scoring plays of 59 yards and 48 yards to Rodney Stewart. Tudmon also threw two scoring passes of 7 yards and 18 yards to Dev Alger. Nate Soto caught two balls for 41 yards and Jon Baune caught two for 39 yards.
The Invaders also ran for 152 yards, with Tudmon leading the way with 65 yards on 11 carries. Tim Devaney averaged 12.3 yards per carry, totaling 37 yards on three totes.
