SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The Fargo Post 400 Stars will sleep on a two-run lead after storms forced Central Plains Tournament officials to suspend the Stars' game against Sioux Falls Post 15 East on Thursday night at Sioux Falls Stadium.
Post 400 leads the second-round game 5-3 and will be batting in the top of the fourth inning when play resumes at 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 6.
Both teams scored all their runs in the third inning. The Stars' Colten Alme singled in a run, Andy Mach's ground out scored another, and Eli Mach drove in three with a bases-loaded double to centerfield.
Sioux Falls got three back in the bottom half on two RBI singles and a steal of home.
