FARGO – Fargo Shanley High School has posted its opening for hiring a new activities director on the Blessed John Paul II Catholic Schools website.
The listing states the job will remain posted until filled and that applicants with an administrator’s license or ability to obtain administrator’s license as well as coaching experience are preferred.
The activities director position at the school was previously occupied by Randy Nelson, who passed away earlier this month after a battle with cancer.
JPII Superintendent Michael Smith assisted Nelson with administrative duties during the fall as Nelson worked a limited schedule.
Sullivan Middle School principal Leon Knodel has been named interim activities director. Knodel served as Shanley’s head boys basketball coach from 2006 to 2012.
