FARGO – The fifth North Dakota Class A girls basketball poll of the 2014-15 season was released Wednesday.
Fargo Shanley topped the poll that is voted on by members of the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association.
The Deacons (9-0) have been the unanimous No. 1-ranked team all season receiving every first-place vote cast in all five polls conducted including the nine counted this week.
Shanley – the defending Class A champion – has won its last 25 games – a streak that dates back to last season.
Minot (10-2) climbed two spots this week to No. 2 after being ranked No. 4 in the Jan. 14 poll.

Grand Forks Red River (9-2) also climbed up two spots to occupy the No. 3 spot. The Roughriders’ two losses this year have been to Shanley and Minot.
Fargo Davies (9-1) remained in the Top 5 despite a 73-65 loss to Red River on Saturday. The Eagles now sit at No. 4.
Bismarck Century (9-3) fell to the No. 5 spot in the poll this week. The Patriots fell on the road to Minot 56-52 last week and hosts Bismarck at 6 p.m. Thursday.
No other schools received votes in the poll.
