Fargo South graduate Brian Reisenauer, competing for Team USA, placed ninth overall in the 56 kilogram weight class (123.2 pounds) in the International Weightlifting Federation World Championships recently in Anaheim, Calif. The meet attracted over 400 weightlifters from 68 countries.
Reisenauer graduated from South in 2007 and wrestled for the Bruins and Minnesota State-Mankato. Kim Tuan Thach from Vietnam won Reisenauer's weight class.
