HIGH POINT, N.C. - Josh Persons of Fargo shot a final round 65 to win the Willow Creek Open Friday at an eGolf Professional Tour.
It is Persons' first professional title. His 7-under round - all pars and seven birdies - at the High Point Country Club earned him the $17,000 first place prize.
The eGolf Tour is in its 12th season and based primarily in North Carolina and South Carolina. The High Point win was Persons' third event on the tour and the first for finishing in the money.
