SHEYENNE DEFEATS WEST FARGO 28-0

WEST FARGO -- In a battle of the unbeaten West Fargo schools, Sheyenne showed why it is expected to be a state title contender again this season.
Barika Kpeenu rushed for four touchdowns as the Mustangs shutout West Fargo, 28-0.
It's Kpeenu's second four touchdown game this season.
Sheyenne improved to 3-0 on the year with an EDC showdown against Shanley next on the schedule. The Packers are now 2-1, a trip to Red River is on deck.
SHANLEY DEFEATS NORTH 26-6
FARGO -- Shanley continued it's terrific start to the season with a 26-6 victory over Fargo North on Friday.
The Deacons got two scores from Cooper Mattern and another from Carter Kochmann to pace their third straight win.
Shanley is 3-0, with a trip to Sheyenne next. The Spartans are 0-3, they travel to Davies on Sept. 18th.

DAVIES HOLDS OFF SOUTH 21-20
FARGO -- In a game that came down to the wire, Davies survived a comeback attempt from South, 21-20.
The Eagles were up 21-14 at the half, but the Bruins held them scoreless in the second half. Kam Archigo scored a touchdown late in the fourth quarter, but the extra point was missed to tie the game after a penalty. Davies held off South from there.
Davies improved to 3-0 and hosts North next week. South is 0-3 and hosts Central next.
CENTRAL GETS FIRST WIN IN TWO YEARS, BEATS RED RIVER 23-0
GRAND FORKS -- Central finally got to celebrate after a football game for the first time in a while.
The Knights took down Red River in the Cushman Classic, 23-0, to claim it's first win in two seasons.
Central is 1-2 on the season, traveling to Fargo South next week. Red River falls to 0-3 this season. The Roughriders get West Fargo at home on Sept. 18th.

ST. MARY'S BEATS HILLSBORO-CENTRAL VALLEY 14-0
BISMARCK -- For the first time in 15 games, Hillsboro-Central Valley came out on the losing side of a game.
On Friday, Bismarck St. Mary's took down the Burros, 14-0, to end Hillsboro-Central Valley's 15-game winning streak.
The defending AA state champions are 2-1, with a state championship rematch against Beulah next on the schedule. The Saints are 3-0 with Devils Lake on deck.
BEULAH BLOWS OUT WAHPETON 49-0
BEULAH -- In AA football, Beulah continued it's terrific start with a 49-0 win.
It's the second straight shutout victory for the Miners.
Beulah is now 3-0, traveling to Hillsboro-Central Valley next week. Wahpeton falls to 0-3, the Huskies will get a bye week before heading to play the Burros on Sept. 25th.

KINDRED TAKES DOWN HAZEN, 39-6
HAZEN-- Kindred comes off their bye week with a 39-6 win at Hazen Friday night. The Vikings led by that at halftime and cruised to their second win of the season.
Kindred returns home next Friday to host Stanley, while Hazen travels to Valley City.
THOMPSON SUFFERS FIRST LOSS, 21-14 TO OAKES
THOMPSON-- Thompson drops their first game of the season, 21-14 at home to Oakes.
Tommies led 14-7 at the break, but the Tornadoes took control in the second half as Oakes moves to 2-0.
Thompson is at Oak Grove next week, while Oakes hosts Sargent County.
TRI-STATE DEFEATS GRIGGS-MIDKOTA, 42-28

FAIRMOUNT-- The Tri-State Tigers earn their third straight win on Friday after defeating Griggs-Midkota 42-28. Quarterback Derick Carl scored two first half touchdowns, as the Tigers sit 3-1 on the season.
Titans drop to 1-3 after the loss on the road. We will have more on the Titans on Sports Sunday this weekend.
MAY-PORT-C-G REMAINS UNDEFEATED AFTER 56-22 WIN AGAINST F-S-H-P
MAYVILLE-- For the fourth straight week, May-Port-C-G drops more than 40 points, they top Finley-Sharon/Hope-Page, 56-22.
The main story of the game was quarterback Sawyer Satrom who had a combined seven touchdowns for May-Port-C-G.
The Patriots return home next week to host Tri-State, while F-S-H-P hosts Richland.
