Five former major leaguers were added Thursday to the Roger Maris Celebrity Benefit Golf Tournament roster.
Former Minnesota Twins Bernie Allen, Rich Rollins, Roy Smalley, Jr., and Dick Stigman, and 18-year major league veteran Roy Smalley, Sr., will play in the event scheduled for June 24-25 at Edgewood Golf Course in Fargo.
Allen, Rollins and Stigman each played on the Twins' 1965 American League championship team.
Smalley, Jr., who spent 10 years with Minnesota, played on the Twins' 1987 World Series championship team.
Smalley. Sr., played shortstop for the Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Brewers and Philadelphia Phillies.
