ST. PAUL-Quinn Shynkaruk and Elizabeth Powell of the FM Fencing Club captured second-place finishes at the St. Paul Academy High School Invitational held last weekend.
Shynkaruk placed second in the boys foil competition while Powell placed second in the first epee.
Other FM Fencing Club members who placed were: Dominic Baer, sixth place, boys epee; Nicole Thompson, sixth place, girls epee; and Maria Loh, fourth place, girls foil.
