It's one of the more interesting sports stories out of the state in Minnesota.

Patrick Reusse of the Star Tribune reported late last week that the MIAC school presidents are set to meet April 18th regarding a potential vote on expelling St. Thomas University from the conference.

St. Thomas has enjoyed some unparalleled success in the last decade, namely in football, where the Tommies have racked up conference titles and numerous playoff berths, including runner-up finishes in 2012 and 2015. The Tommies have beat up conference opponents in the process, which reportedly left a bad taste in the mouths of some MIAC presidents.

Forum sports reporter Eric Peterson, who covers Concordia College, a member of the MIAC, joins the Den to discuss what may happen and the Cobbers position in this development.
