North Dakota State received its second commitment for the Class of 2020 Thursday afternoon coming from Ada-Borup offensive lineman Mason Miller.
Miller is just under 6'8 and 240 pounds and told me he's being projected as a left tackle by the Bison. Miller discusses in this podcast that college football wasn't even on his radar until about a year and a half ago. He had been receiving interest from some major schools, including Minnesota and Iowa.
Miller is the second local commitment for NDSU in this class as he joins Fargo Davies safety Ty Satter as members of the 2020 class. For Miller he becomes the third Division 1 product from Ada, joining Nicole Smart who played basketball at UND and Brian Blasey who was part of NDSU's track and field championship teams.
Miller was seen at NDSU's spring practices a couple of times in April and is one of the three standout local football recruits that's getting FBS attention. Barnesville's Hunter Zenzen committed to Iowa State in April, while Moorhead's Seth Anderson is gaining offers by the day, as schools from NDSU to Wyoming to Northern Illinois have offered.
