FARGO — Former North Dakota State head football coach Chris Klieman is set to throw out the first pitch at the AO1 Foundation charity softball game, which is scheduled for Wednesday, June 26, at Newman Outdoor Field.

Klieman, now the head coach at Kansas State, coached former Bison quarterback Carson Wentz, who founded the AO1 Foundation. Wentz is the starting quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Bison head coach Matt Entz, who took over for Klieman, is also throwing out a first pitch for the game, which features two teams of former Bison football players, Team Offense vs. Team Defense.

A home run derby is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. followed by a seven-inning game that is slated to start at 7 p.m. The event also includes a silent auction.
