MINNEAPOLIS — Former Concordia Cobbers wide receiver Brandon Zylstra had a productive game for the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Zylstra nabbed a 4-yard touchdown pass from Kyle Sloter in Minnesota's preseason NFL game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Zylstra's scoring catch gave the Vikings a 17-13 lead with 2 minutes, 29 seconds to play in the third quarter.
The 6-foo-2, 215-pound Zylstra had five catches for 37 yards after he caught the touchdown pass late in the third quarter.
Zylstra is in his second season with the Vikings. Last season, had finished with one catch for 23 yards, playing in 16 games. He was primarily used on special teams.
