ABERDEEN, S.D. — Minnesota State Moorhead defeated Northern State 24-17 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference football on Saturday.

The two teams were tied in the fourth quarter until receiver Grady Bresnahan scored with 16 seconds left in the game to seal the win for the Dragons.

Denver Colgrove scored the first MSUM touchdown of the game off a three-yard run in the second. Then, 55 seconds before the half, Trent Marquart brought in seven points from a 23-yard pass. Hobet Diaz made a 37-yard field goal at the start of the fourth to bring the Dragons to a 17-10 lead. Northern State tied it with 9:45 left in the fourth before Brsnahan's winning touchdown.

MSUM (2-1 overall, 2-1 NSIC) faces University of Mary on Saturday.
