WASHINGTON — The North Dakota State football team looks to be headed back to the White House.

According to Sen. Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., President Donald Trump has extended an invitation to celebrate NDSU's 28-20 Football Championship Subdivision National Championship victory over James Madison on Jan. 11. It was the team's eighth title in the last nine years, and third consecutive triumph.

Details for the visit are still in the works, Cramer said in the tweet.

He said Trump was especially interested in Bison head coach Matt Entz leading the team to victory in his first season on the job.

When Trump asked the Senator how the Bison keep winning, he answered "Bison Culture sir!" according to the tweet.

The NDSU football team visited the White House and met with President Trump last March to commemorate last year's championship season, with 110 players and more than 40 coaches attending.
