North Dakota State has wrapped its fall 2020 schedule after Saturday's 39-28 win over Central Arkansas.
The next major development surrounding the football team will be the early signing period in December. The Bison have 14 verbal commitments, after receiving a commitment late in the week from the state of Missouri.
Here's a brief recap of how NDSU's commits fared this weekend.
Barika Kpeenu (West Fargo Sheyenne) - Kpeenu and the Mustangs were off for the second straight Friday, this a forced bye week after a positive COVID-19 test on the football team last week. Sheyenne was allowed to come out of quarantine on Saturday to resume activities, they are scheduled to play Fargo Davies this Friday in a battle of the top two teams in the EDC. Kpeenu has carried the ball 81 times for 682 yards and nine touchdowns thru the first four games of the season. Sheyenne and Davies play Friday at 7 on WDAY Xtra.
Enock Sibomana (Fargo South) - Sibomana and the Bruins have won two straight after Fargo South edged Fargo North 23-22. Sibomana was all over the field Friday. He had an 83 yard kickoff return for a touchdown that gave the Bruins the lead in the third quarter. He had 16 carries for 120 yards on the ground in the win. South is now 2-3 on the season and hosts Grand Forks Red River on Friday.
Truman Werremeyer (Fargo Davies) - Werremeyer had a great game Friday as Davies remained unbeaten with a 16-7 win over West Fargo. Werremeyer scored the game tying touchdown in the second quarter on a seven yard run, part of his 62 yards on 14 carries. He was a monster on defense, leading the team with eight tackles, including one for loss as the Eagles didn't allow a point in the final 44 minutes of the game.
Jaxon Duttenhefer (Mandan) - Duttenhefer and the Braves were off this week, part of a scheduled bye week in the Western Dakota Association. His updated stats from the last Mandan game were impressive against Dickinson. Duttenhefer had a blocked punt and a safety recovery in the Braves 18-8 win over Dickinson.
Cole Payton (Omaha Westside) - NDSU's quarterback commit is having some kind of season this fall. Westside continues to roll opponents, they defeated Millard North 44-14 on Friday night. Payton completed 8 of 13 passes for 201 yards and three touchdowns, while he also rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown. Payton has combined for 19 total touchdowns in the first six games of the season.
Finn Diggins (Perham) and Sam Henry (Eden Prairie) - The Minnesota high school season began officially this past weekend, Diggins and Henry will play their first games of the year this coming weekend.
Logan Kopp (Lindbergh High School) - The Missouri high school season began this weekend and Kopp was ready to go. Lindbergh beat Northwest 41-20 behind Kopp's monster game. Kopp had 17 carries for 196 yards and added two touchdowns on the ground, but he was even better on defense. Kopp, who will play linebacker at NDSU, had 13 tackles, two sacks and an interception in the win. That's an impressive start.

Nasir Howell (North Cobb High School) - North Cobb knocked off Etowah High School, 28-10 Friday night. No stats were available yet of Howell's play from this game.
Britton Pascoe (Bloomingdale High School) - Pascoe was in one of the game's of the night in the state of Florida. Bloomingdale was facing off against Plant City, each team highly ranked in Florida. Bloomingdale won the game, 37-20, with Pascoe scoring a touchdown in the win.
Kody Huisman (Pella High School) - The Pella Dutch keep on winning, beating Bondurant Farrar, 20-0. Huisman was big on defense, finishing with 5.5 tackles and three sacks on the night. Pella improved to 4-2 on the season and Huisman has been a huge reason for the Dutch success on offense and defense.
Alex Oechsner (Waukesha Catholic) - The second weekend of Wisconsin high school football was another winning one for Oechsner and Waukesha Catholic. They won 17-10 over Brookfield Central, Oechsner finished with three carries for 40 yards, then added two receptions for 69 yards. He added three tackles on defense.
Kayden Warren (Rice Lake) - Warren's Rice Lake team lost on Friday to River Falls, 19-14. No stats were received as of yet from this game.
Reginald King (Grandview High School) - The newest commitment found the endzone Friday. King scored on a thirty yard touchdown pass in the second half of a Grandview 27-6 loss to Smithville.
