Grand Forks Red River 12, Fargo South 9

GRAND FORKS — Red River edged South on a last-second field goal Friday in Class A Eastern Dakota Conference action.

South dropped to 1-3 overall and 1-2 in the EDC. Red River improved to 2-2 both overall and in the EDC.

West Fargo 42, Fargo Davies 6

WEST FARGO — Parker Nelson found the end zone four times to help fuel the Packers to a dominant win against Davies in Class AA EDC play.

Two of Nelson’s four rushing touchdowns came in the Packers’ 21-point second quarter. Nelson finished with 161 rushing yards on 27 carries. Dorien Tarley added 27 rushing yards and a touchdown on five carries.

West Fargo quarterback Peyton Jantzi completed 4 of 10 passes for 99 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Caden Zepeda had two catches for 56 yards and a TD.

Eagles quarterback Dylan Feldner completed 13 of 20 passes for 124 yards and a touchdown. Feldner also ran for 46 yards on 14 attempts. He connected with Jameson Wanzek for a 20-yard score.

West Fargo improved to 2-2 overall and 1-1 in the EDC. Davies dropped to 2-2 overall and 0-2 in the conference.

Fargo North 50, Grand Forks Central 0

FARGO — North erupted for 35 first-half points en route to a dominant win over Grand Forks Central in Class AA action.

North quarterback Daniel Boutain completed 8 of 9 passes for 112 yards and three touchdowns. Peder Haugo carried eight times for 136 yards and a touchdown, while Mason Lockwood ran for 135 yards and two TDs on 12 attempts.

Nathaniel Fritel hauled in two catches for 66 yards, including a 46-yarder for a touchdown in the first quarter. Carson Shultis had three catches for 41 yards and two touchdowns. Dallas Bachmeier led the Spartans defense with 5.5 total tackles, including five solo.

North rose to 3-1 overall and 3-0 in the EDC. GFC fell to 1-3 overall and 1-2 in the conference.

West Fargo Sheyenne 37, Bismarck 0

BISMARCK — Sheyenne pushed its win streak to four with a shutout win over Bismarck in Class AA play.

Sheyenne improved to 4-0 overall, while Bismarck fell to 1-3.

Bismarck St. Mary’s 28, Fargo Shanley 21

BISMARCK — Class A St. Mary’s downed Class AA Shanley on Friday.

Shanley fell to 2-2 overall, while St. Mary’s improved to 3-1.

Lisbon 52, Fargo Oak Grove 7

FARGO — Lisbon rolled to victory over Fargo Oak Grove in Class 11B play.

Oak Grove’s Trevon Rodriguez had a 1-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.

Boeden Greenley had four rushing touchdowns to lead Lisbon. He ran for a 1-yarder in the first quarter, and had scoring rushes of 4, 70 and 50 yards in the second quarter. Levi Sveum broke free for an 86-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.

The Broncos won their fourth game in a row, improving to 4-1 overall this season. Oak Grove dropped to 0-5 overall.

Fertile-Beltrami 49, Moorhead Park Christian 7

FERTILE, Minn. — Fertile-Beltrami cruised by Park Christian for its third win in a row in Minnesota Class 9-man action.

Park Christian’s Phil Lien rushed for 59 yards. Max Albrecht threw a touchdown pass to Austin Carlson, and Riley Erkenbrack led the Falcons defense with seven solo tackles and 10 assisted tackles.

Park Christian fell to 1-2 overall, while Fertile-Beltrami rose to 3-0.
