FARGO — Moorhead graduate and University of North Dakota hockey commit Carter Randklev has a torn ACL in his left knee. Surgery has been scheduled and he will miss the remainder of the United States Hockey League season with the Fargo Force.

The injury happened on a collision late in the second period against Youngstown on Saturday. Randklev said he fell awkwardly. He also said he wasn't sure if this injury meant he would come back for another year of junior hockey next year or try to go to UND after the surgery.

"My schedule is to be determined at this point," Randklev said.
