Despite the efforts of any feature-winning driver at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, Mother Nature continues to dominate the track.
Bruce Olson, general manager of Red River Valley Speedway, announced Wednesday that races for Friday night will be postponed due to the weather forecast for the region.
The forecast calls for cooler temperatures, and possibly snow, to hit the Fargo-Moorhead area Friday.
"Snow doesn't make me too happy," Olson said.
Olson said the track will move Friday's races to Tuesday, along with running its scheduled races the following Friday. One of the reasons he postponed early was so the track could fix any advertising for the races.

Red River Valley Speedway has either canceled or postponed three of its first four scheduled races this season. The track held its season opener Friday after canceling its first two races.
It's the first time in "many years" that the track will race on a Tuesday night, according to Olson.
"I'm glad he's going to make it up on Tuesday rather than throw it away," said Chad Ohnstad of Harwood, N.D., who won the Modifieds feature Friday at Red River Valley Speedway.
"Maybe we can get some Grand Forks cars to come down," added Loren Langerud of Harwood, who won the Sprints feature Friday. River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks also hosts races Friday nights.
Red River Valley Speedway's races will start at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
