FARGO-Sam Stuhl, a four-time Wisconsin state champion, has signed a letter of intent to wrestle at North Dakota State.

Stuhl, a 138-pounder from Ellsworth, Wis., became the 16th four-time state champion in Wisconsin high school history. He was a Division II 120-pound state champion at Prescott High School and a a 126, 132 and 138-pound Division II state champion at Ellsworth. He compiled a 170-12 record in four years.

Stuhl joins Austin Brenner, St. Cloud, Minn.; Noah Cressell, Wabash, Ind.; Dylan Droegemueller, Champlin, Minn.; Jared Franek, West Fargo and Jimmy Noel, St. Louis, Mo., who all signed in November.
