RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif. - Hurt by three double bogies on the back nine, Fargo South's Ben Freeman shot a 10-over 82 on Monday in the first round of stroke play at the 59th U.S. Junior Amateur Championship at Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club.
Freeman is in 140th place. The low 64 players after today's second round will advance to the match play portion of the tournament.
