Girls hockey: Walz's goal helps Williston slip past Fargo North

WILLISTON, N.D. - Jocie Walz scored in the third period as Williston narrowly defeated Fargo North 2-1 in North Dakota girls hockey play on Saturday.

Helene Pippin put the Coyotes on board with a goal in the second period. Goaltender Kinsey McCaughtry recorded 47 saves.

Haley Olmstead tied the game with less than a minute left in the second period for the Spartans (13-6).
