Girls soccer: North posts shutouts over Mandan and St. Mary's

MANDAN, N.D. - Fargo North blanked both opponents in the North Dakota girls soccer East-West Crossover on Friday at Dakota Centennial Park.

Noel Scherer scored both goals for North in the first game as North shut out Mandan 2-0.

Alyssa Dehne scored the game-winning goal in the second game as North downed Bismarck St. Mary's 1-0.

Goalkeeper Nicole Moen made 14 saves for Bismarck St. Mary's.

Jamie St. Germain added an assist in each game for North (3-1, 1-1 EDC).
