CHASKA, Minn. — Oxbow, N.D., golfer Amy Olson will be playing an LPGA major championship about as close to home as possible. She tees off Thursday, June 20 in the KPMG Women's PGA Championship at Hazeltine National Golf Club in the suburban Twin Cities.

Olson has been practicing at Hazeltine since Monday and spent Wednesday tuning up for her first round. She played nine holes of practice, then hit some range balls, had a couple of media interviews, signed autographs and hit a few putts before wrapping up for the day.

Olson will be paired with Joanna Coe and Alison Lee for the first two rounds. The threesome will tee off on No. 10 at 9:41 a.m. Thursday and on No. 1 at 3:06 p.m. on Friday. The top 70 players and ties make the 36-hole cut and will play the final two rounds over the weekend.
