After a split this week, including a home loss to ranked Purdue and a road win at Indiana on Sunday, the Minnesota Gophers still fell out of this week's Associated Press Top 25 men's basketball poll.
The Gophers (17-3 overall, 5-3 Big Ten) were ranked 21st last week.
Minnesota remained in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll at No. 24, dropping three spots from a week ago.
The Gophers have only one game this week, hosting No. 19 Illinois Thursday at 8 p.m.
Michigan State continues to be the top-ranked Big Ten team at No. 9 this week, down two spots from a week ago. Purdue climbs two spots to No. 16, with Illinois the only other Big Ten team ranked.
