Clark C. Griffith has been named commissioner of the Northern League.
Griffith - who previously served on the Northern League's general counsel - replaces Jim Weigel. Griffith is a former executive with the Minnesota Twins.
The Northern League Office of the Commissioner will move to Minneapolis.
