HENNING, Minn. — Henning standout girls basketball player Ellie Dague has committed to play women's basketball for North Dakota State, she announced on Twitter Wednesday night.

"I want to thank my parents, teammates and coaches for guiding me along this journey. I cannot wait to become a Bison!" Dague wrote in the tweet.

The 5-foot-9 Dague helped lead Henning to a 29-2 record and a Minnesota Class 1A state tournament berth last season prior to the season being canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. She is a senior-to-be for the Henning Hornets.
