ASPEN, Colo.-Tucker Hibbert, who resides in Pelican Rapids, Minn., tied the X Games record for most consecutive gold medals won after taking first place in snocross on Thursday.
It was Hibbert's ninth straight snocross gold. That tied the longest gold-medal streak at the X Games, which was set by Jamie Bestwick, who had nine straight first-place finishes in BMX Vert. Bestwick's streak ended in 2015 when he won silver.
Adam Renheim of Sweden finished in second place in snocross, while American Corin Todd finished third.
