ALEXANDRIA, Minn. - Moorhead opened with a 12-10 win over Alexandria, but fell 2-0 in Game 2 of a Minnesota baseball doubleheader on Friday.
Braden Rahman was 4-for-5 to pace the Spuds (3-3) in Game 1.
Chance Bitzer and Dylan Deavy each went 2-for-4 with a home run in the opener.
In Game 2, Alexandria's Jordan Hirsh shut down Moorhead's offense, allowing one hit in the complete-game shutout. Tyler Larson went 1-for-3 to break up Hirsh's no-hit bid.
