DEVILS LAKE, Minn. - Fargo Shanley and Devils Lake each took one game of a doubleheader in North Dakota baseball on Friday.
Shanley shut out Devils Lake 1-0 in the first game. Nick Salentine scored the winning run on an RBI single by Jordan Gefroh in the fifth inning.
Devils Lake jumped out to an early lead and held on to beat Shanley 5-1 in the second game.
Josh Janzen pitched a complete game with eight strikeouts for Devils Lake.
Shanley moves to 6-8 overall and 2-5 in the Eastern Dakota Conference.
