CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — A pair of third period goals pushed Cedar Rapids past the Fargo Force 4-2 Friday night in United States Hockey League action.

The Roughriders and Force traded goals in the first period, with Nikolai Mayorov opening the scoring for Cedar Rapids in less than two minutes. Kaden Bohlson tied the score for Fargo midway through the period, assisted by Alex Nordstrom and Jack Robilotti.

Cedar Rapids' Justin Hryckowian gave the Roughriders another lead, but Tristan Broz knotted the score at two heading into the first intermission.

After a quiet second period, Hryckowian and Jackson Jutting tallied to push Cedar Rapids to the win. Brennan Boynton recorded 15 saves for the Force.

The Force (4-5-1) will visit Dubuque at 7:05 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9.
