ASHWAUBENON, Wis. — Green Bay scored four unanswered goals to sink the Force 5-2 Saturday night in United States Hockey League play at Resch Center.
Adam Gajarsky opened the scoring for Fargo late in the first period to give the visitors a 1-0 lead before the first intermission.
The Gamblers (18-14-2) took over in the second period, with Tyler Paquette and Jake Schmaltz each finding the back of the net, giving Green Bay a 2-1 lead before the final period.
Green Bay picked up where it left off, with Jesse Tucker and Alex Servagno scoring to put the contest out of reach for the Force. Kaden Bohlson scored a late consolation goal for Fargo, but Chad Hillebrand tallied 16 seconds later to answer.
Kyle Smolen and Tristan Broz each notched one assist for the Force. Michael Ferrandino distributed two assists for the hosts.
Cole Brady made 19 saves for Fargo.
The Force fell to 19-12-4 and will visit Waterloo at 7:05 p.m., Friday, Feb. 7.
