SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Fargo Force tallied a 6-3 win over Sioux City in United States Hockey League play Sunday afternoon at Tyson Events Center.

The Force got out ahead early and led 3-0 at the end of the second period. Jack Robilotti, Carter Randklev and Lynden Breen all found the back of the net in the first two periods.

Breen scored his second goal to open the third period before Sioux City (15-17-6) finally got on the board when Robby Newton scored. Joseph Dunlap and Adam Gajarsky added goals for Fargo in the closing minutes of regulation.

The Force outshot Sioux City 39-27, while goalie Brennan Boynton totaled 24 saves.

The Force (20-13-3) sits third in the Western Conference and begins a two-game series against Omaha at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14.
