FARGO -- It was a day dominated by Eastern North Dakota schools.
In the boys quarterfinals of the state hockey tournament, each EDC school advanced in dominating fashion.
Davies stomped Century 6-0, South-Shanley rolled over Minot 9-1, Red River turned back Jamestown 8-2, and Central looked like the three time defending state champion with a 7-1 victory over Bismarck.
On the girls side, Davies showed why it's the top seed in the tournament, beating West Fargo United 3-1.
The Eagles will battle Devils Lake in the semifinals after the Firebirds went to four overtimes to knock off Grand Forks, 2-1.
On the other side, Bismarck started it's quest for a sixth straight title with a 6-2 win over Mandan. The Blizzard will get Minot in the semis after the Majettes upset Fargo North-South, 3-1.
