FARGO — The Fargo Force scored in each period to knock off the visiting Sioux Falls Stampede on Saturday night, March 6, at Scheels Arena in a United States Hockey League matchup.

Nick Strom opened the scoring, giving the Force a 1-0 lead late in the first period.

The Force doubled their advantage through an Aaron Huglen goal just 28 seconds into the second period. Sioux Falls struck back minutes later with a Cole Sillinger power play strike.

Matthew Crasa restored the Force's two-goal advantage midway through the third frame before an empty net tally from Austin Wong provided the final margin.

Ryan Siedem provided two assists for the Force. Goalie Brennan Boynton made 23 saves.

Fargo moved to 24-12-2 on the season and top the Western Conference with 50 points. Sioux Falls dropped to 16-17-3.

The Force return to the ice at 7:05 p.m. Thursday, March 11, against Des Moines at Scheels Arena.
