FARGO — The Fargo Force were unable to overcome an early two-goal deficit and ultimately suffered a 4-3 loss against the Omaha Lancers on Saturday night at Scheels Arena.

The visiting Lancers drew first blood two minutes into the first period through a Nolan Renwick strike. Omaha doubled their advantage with an Owen Fowler goal roughly four minutes later.

The Force battled back with goals from Matthew Crasa and Jeremy Davidson to draw the hosts even before the first intermission.

The two sides traded blows again in the second period, with Omaha's Cam Mitchell and Fargo's Trevor Griebel each finding the back of the net.

The matchup was heading to a potential overtime, but Omaha's Zach Dubinsky scored the decisive goal with 1 minute, 1 second left in the third period.
