SPORTS SUNDAY -- From heartbreak in the state title game last season, to an impressive winning streak nearly 12 months later, the Warroad Warriors are showing all signs that they could become Minnesota high school girls hockey state champions.
They've won 24 games in a row, and don't look like slowing down.
Two all-stars stand out - goalie Quinn Kuntz and defender Katelyn Kotlowski.
Kuntz has 14 shutouts and boasts an eye-catching .962 save percentage.
That's seen her named as a semi-finalist for 2019 Senior Goalie of the Year.
Kotlowski's leadership from the back is a pivotal piece in the Warrior's success.
She's also been named a semi-finalist for Ms. Hockey 2019.
An overtime final loss to Breck in 2018 has only fueled their desire to end an eight-year title drought.
