Minnesota 4, Ohio State 3

Minnesota again built a big lead and held off the hard-charging Buckeyes for an unlikely weekend sweep of the conference’s top team. The Gophers got goals from Scott Reedy, Nathan Burke and Brent Gates to build a 3-0 lead, and the game-winner from Tyler Sheehy in the third period. Look for more here.

Denver 1, Minnesota Duluth 0

Fourth-ranked Minnesota Duluth was shut out for just the second time this season by the team that blanked them the first time, losing to seventh-ranked Denver. Pioneers sophomore goaltender Devin Cooley made 27 saves in his first appearance since going down with an injury Jan. 4 at Wisconsin. See more here.

Western Michigan 4, North Dakota 2

North Dakota goalie Adam Scheel was was injured during Hugh McGing’s game-clinching shorthanded goal with 3:09 to play as lost 4-2 to Western Michigan in the series finale and may now have to deal with the loss of yet another key player. See the full story here.
