FARGO — The Waterloo Black Hawks buried three goals in the third period en route to a 5-2 United States Hockey League comeback victory over the Fargo Force Saturday at Scheels Arena before 3,932 fans.
Ben Meyers scored his 28th goal of the season for the Force (27-21-4) with two seconds left in the first period. Early in the second, Aaron Huglen buried his fourth goal this year to put Fargo up 2-1.
Wyatt Schingoethe scored for Waterloo (33-14-5) in the second period to tie it 2-2. Griffin Ness scored the go-ahead goal early in the third, and Joe Cassetti later added two insurance goals to seal the win.
