Valley City sophomore Tucker Johnson keeps himself busy in and outside of wrestling season.
"I'm in speech, theater, student congress," he began. "I'm also on student council, jazz band, show choir, wrestling and football."
All in an effort to keep challenging himself.
"I always like to be active and be doing something productive," he said. "I always want to work towards a goal, I always want to be the best that I can possibly be, so I always work as hard as I possibly can."
Johnson began wrestling half a decade ago, and began theater and show choir within the last few years. He says he enjoys the balance that comes with his academic and athletic life.

"So much fun being able to go right from school into wrestling," he said.
He's a contributing member of a Valley City wrestling team that is currently undefeated in Eastern Dakota Conference matches and 17-2 overall.
"Just the chance to be on a great wrestling team, and put in the hard work, and then just be able to go out on the mat and just get it done," Johnson said.
