Garrett Johnson and Greg Reid, two North Dakota State football players who were suspended in March, were dismissed from the team, head coach Craig Bohl said Wednesday.
Both were charged in connection with thefts from a Fargo Best Buy store.
"We have a high bar here and those young men have been charged with some very serious crimes," Bohl said. "They'll have their day in court but playing NDSU football is a privilege and we felt it was important for us to move forward as a football team and that's what we've done."
