Kindred roars to opening night win over Hillsboro-Central Valley

KINDRED -- On the night winter sports games returned in North Dakota, Kindred boys basketball came out of the gates roaring on Monday night.

The Vikings jumped out to a 13-0 run and a 23-5 first quarter lead en route to a 64-43 win over Hillsboro-Central Valley.

Kindred junior Paul Olson led all scorers with 17 points, while senior Matt Pearson and junior Max McQuillan scored 11.

The Burros were led by Gannon Limke with 16 points and Jackson Anderson with 10 points.

Kindred hosts Northern Cass on Friday, while Hillsboro-Central Valley plays for the first time at home this season against Drayton/Valley-Edinburg.
