Former Moorhead High School standout James Krajsa placed eighth this past Saturday at the NCAA Division II men's cross country championship in Slippery Rock, Pa.
Krajsa, who placed 27th in the meet a year ago, earned All-American honors with his effort. He ran a time of 31 minutes, 34 seconds.
Krajsa helped Minnesota State Mankato to an eighth-place finish as a team. Adams State won the team championship with 67 points. Western State was second (88), followed by Chico State (120), Abilene Christian (128), Grand Valley State (190), Harding (198) and the Mavericks (230).
