Legion baseball: Dylan Erholtz tosses gem to lead Fargo Post 2 past Grand Forks

Erholtz went the distance, giving up only one unearned run

FARGO — Dylan Erholtz tallied a strong pitching performance to lift Fargo Post 2 to a 2-1 win over Grand Forks on Wednesday in American Legion baseball at Jack Williams Stadium.

Erholtz tossed a complete game, giving up one unearned run on three hits with eight strikeouts and zero walks. Landon Meier went 1-for-2 with an RBI for Post 2. Aaron Breitbach finished 1 of 2 with a run scored.

Post 2 (18-3) is scheduled to play Manitoba at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Thursday in "The Pete" tournament at Jack Williams Stadium.
