Legion baseball: Fargo Post 2 opens Omaha tournament with victory on Wednesday

Post 2 continues play in the CWS JR Jay Blue Jay Classic with two games on Thursday, June 23.

OMAHA, Neb. — Dylan Erholtz fired a two-hitter and Fargo Post 2 opened play in the College World Series JR Jay Blue Jay Classic on Wednesday with an 8-0 win over Lincoln Southwest.

Erholtz didn't issue a walk and he struck out five. Tommy Simon was 2 for 3 with two RBI and he scored a run, and Aaron Breitbach doubled, drove in two runs and scored a run.

Josh Biver was 2 for 3 with a double, Adam Leininger doubled, drove in a run and scored a run, and Connor Holm singled, walked three times and scored a run.

Post 2 plays Lincoln Southwest at 9:30 a.m. and Millard West at noon on Thursday, June 23.
