OMAHA, Neb. — The Fargo Post 2 American Legion baseball team cruised to a 12-4 victory over North Platte on Friday at the CWS Jr. Jay Classic.
Connor Holm finished 3-for-5 with a double and three RBIs for Post 2. Tommy Simon was 3 of 3 with a home run and two RBIs. Dylan Erholtz went 2 of 2 with three runs and an RBI, and Adam Leininger had two hits and three RBIs. Dylan Tostenson was 3 of 4 with two runs, while Charlie Kalbrener doubled and drove in a run.
Kaden Kvidera picked up the win for Post 2.
Tournament play continues Saturday.
